Culinary.net – Sweet ‘n Savory Teriyaki Kabobs: Chicken/Shrimp
Chicken and Shrimp put together with peppers, onions and mangoes served with a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce sounds like a winning recipe to me. Serve it up with a Ginger Mango Dipping Sauce and you’ve got it made!
Mommy Kat and Kids – Dr. Pepper Ribs
These are said to be the most delicious, fall off the bone and finger licking good ribs you’ll have. Whether they end up being your new favorite or not, they will not disappoint. Dr. Pepper adds an amazing dimension of sweet and peppery flavor, plus helps tenderize the meat while marinating it. Try it out and have a good old cold Dr. Pepper while cooking.
Mommy Kat and Kids – Peanut Sauce Ribs and Wet Naps
This is another finger licking good rib recipe that gives a variation of flavor over the typical BBQ sauce because it uses a scrumptious peanut sauce instead. Many people will be asking you for the recipe so they can change up an old favorite. Don’t forget the wet naps!
Fabulessly Frugal – Grilled Hawaiian Chicken with Coconut Rice
Fabulessly Frugal – Killer Baby Back Ribs
What makes these “Killer” baby back ribs? Well, they are created first by using the author’s signature BBQ rub and sauce and then baked to perfection. A few minutes before everyone is ready to eat, they are thrown on the grill to get those grill marks and beautiful char. Great make-ahead meal. I would say that makes them killer for sure.
The Country Cook – Grilled Chicken Skewers
Everyone loves to eat chicken on a stick. It’s easy and looks pretty. Then add some amazing marinades and you’ve got a great dish that is also portable. Means you can cheer on your favorite team and keep your drink in hand all while eating your meat on a stick. Be sure to make your favorite dipping sauces to go with them.
Mommy Mania – Caprese Chicken Drumsticks
Snack Girl – Perfect Beer Can Roast Chicken
I remember when these beer can chickens became really popular and I laughed at how funny that bird looked propped up with a beer can well, you know where. I couldn’t laugh at the flavor though and here is a perfect way to create the perfect roasted beer can chicken!
Hello Newlywed Life – Agave Soy Grilled/Baked Chicken
More ideas to kick up the flavor in that chicken! Only uses 10 ingredients and very easy to make. Serve it up with some simple white rice and grilled corn on the cob, then sit outside in the sun and enjoy.
Ginger Snap Crafts – Sweet & Spicy BBQ Wings with Grilled Corn on the Cob
No Girls Allowed – Great Slow Roasted, Braised BBQ Ribs
What makes these ribs so delicious and special is that they are braised for hours before being put on the grill for their final char and flavor. Some like them roasted, some like them just grilled, but I must say I really like braising meats. Keeps them so juicy.
From Valerie’s Kitchen – Jim’s Country Style BBQ Ribs
A good old country style rib that will definitely stick to your ribs. If you want a classic country recipe for ribs try these out.
From Valerie’s Kitchen – Grilled Greek Chicken with Tzatziki Sauce
My daughter is a dipper. She loves to dip anything she can in some sort of sauce or dressing. When I saw this recipe I thought of her. She is going to love that tangy Tzatziki sauce to dip her tasty chicken in.
From Valerie’s Kitchen – Smokey Grilled Paprika Chicken
This recipe comes from trying to find new and exciting ways to make healthy chicken and not have the family look down dismally at their plates. We all know chicken can be quite boring if not seasoned well or cooked right. Here is a great recipe with smokiness and flavor and not a lot of fat.
From Valerie’s Kitchen – Grilled Chicken Satay with Peanut Dipping Sauce
From Valerie’s Kitchen – Simply Grilled Steak with Grilled Corn and Black Bean Salsa
I love any recipe that starts with the world “simple”. This recipe is very simple and the black beans and grilled salsa add a depth of freshness that cuts through the richness of the salty grilled steak.
Culinary.net – King Tenderloin with Red Velvet Demi Glace
Grilling a tenderloin by itself makes for a great main course, but add the velvety demi glace and you have a gourmet meal fit for a king! Don’t be intimated by the demi-glace. It is super simple to make.(Demi–glace is a rich brown sauce in French cuisine used by itself or as a base for other sauces).
Fabulessly Frugal – Sirloin Kabobs
What sets this recipe apart from other beef kabobs is the use of sirloin which is a fabulous cut of beef. The marinade is also very simple and mostly uses ingredients that you should have on hand all the time (minus the fresh ginger but you can use ground). Also, a tip to keep ginger on hand is to pop it in the freezer. It will stay for months.
Chocolate Moosey – Beef Stir Fry Kabobs
FoodNetwork.com – Shell Steaks with Red Wine Butter
The FoodNetwok always has great recipes and they are good with taking something simple and making it sound and taste amazing. Here is a classic steak with the addition of a red wine butter. Who would have thought of making a red wine butter? Loving it!
From Valerie’s Kitchen – Carne Asada Tacos
HoneyBear Lane – Best Grilled Salmon Recipe Ever
I’m sure you are wondering what makes this the best. Well, according to the author, she makes sure there is no fishy flavor. She uses a brown sugar rub and it becomes super tender from grilling the salmon in foil packs. This also keeps it from being messy! I would say tender, sweet, savory and not messy definitely makes this one of the best.
Viance – Blackened Salmon Sandwiches
FoodNetwork.com – Sweet and Spicy Grilled Salmon
FoodNetwork.com – Grilled Shrimp with Polenta
Here is an amazing recipe that is a play on shrimp and grits but uses store bought polenta to make it easier and quicker. Plus, this is much lighter. It’s topped off with a spicy butter that melts over the hot shrimp. Literally done from start to finish in 25 minutes. That spicy butter you can save and serve with other dishes.
FoodNetwork.com – Grilled Shrimp with a Grilled Tomato Cocktail Sauce
Shrimp cocktail is served at every party I go to and it’s good but I must say can get pretty boring – plus I’m still not a fan of raw seafood. Spice it up by grilling your shrimp and making this homemade cocktail sauce that incorporates grilled tomato to go along with the smoky shrimp. It becomes more than an appetizer and can be served as a meal with some rice or a good quinoa salad.
Pizza, Dinner Salads and More
The addition of grilled romaine and grilled shrimp give this classic salad a whole new dimension of flavors plus the dressing is light so you don’t have to feel guilty eating it poolside or along side anything else.
Baking Beauty – Grilled Corn Quesadillas
This is a classic quesadilla that uses grilled corn instead of just cheese and beans or cheese, beans and meat. The corn adds a nice sweetness to contrast the saltiness of that sharp cheddar cheese. Keep it vegetarian or add chicken.
FoodNetwork.com – Kids Can Make: Pizza Skewers
Great dish to make with your kids and yet everyone will love the flavor. Watch your little ones beam with pride when everyone finds out they are the ones who made it and not Mommy or Daddy! I think cutting the pizza dough into squares and grilling with rest of the ingredients is just short of genius.
oh sweet basil – Double the Meat Hold the Bread BLT Salad
She had me at “double the meat and hold the bread”! This recipe has it all. It’s hearty, filled with flavor and so beautiful. All those colors will make for a perfect centerpiece on any table that everyone will be excited to dig into.
Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads – Greek Style Grilled Naan Pizza
If you have read any other of my recipe blog posts you know I love pizza. It’s easy and versatile. Here you take all the classic flavors of Greece and put it on a beautifully grilled pizza dough. The pizza dough is a ready-made Garlic Naan from Stonefire which can be found in most local grocery stores.
Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads – Grilled Chicken,Pesto and Two Cheese Naan Pizza
Another great way to mix up your next pizza. Get out that grill and add some fresh tasting pesto, grilled chicken and two kinds of cheese all on a pre-made Tandoori Naan.
Fabulessly Frugal – Best Grilled Pizza
A guide to the best way to grill pizza along with great toppings and ideas that will have your family asking for grilled pizza night instead of ordering out. One of the best things you can do with your kids is get the dough ready, set out a bunch of toppings and let them create their own.
Fabulessly Frugal – Grilled Breakfast Pizza
Here is a wonderful grilled breakfast pizza topped with eggs and all sorts of goodness. It may not be a main dinner course but will make a great main breakfast or brunch course for sure. Since everyone loves pizza why not have it for breakfast and I don’t mean the cold leftovers from the night before 🙂
If you are looking for some vegetarian meals that utilize your grill here is one to keep in your favorites. The eggplant makes it hearty and the garlic Greek yogurt gives it flavor and adds a nice light creaminess to round it all out in the pita. Much lighter than the gyro as well so it can be a great alternative.
Moni Meals – Summer Veggie Stack with Basil (vegetarian)
This is a recipe I will be making over and over for my Mom. She’s a vegetarian. I can just see how excited she will get when I present it to her because it’s not only vegetarian, it’s grilled and looks so pretty. Make some quinoa to place underneath for the finishing touches and impress the pickiest of eaters.
Get your Burger On!
The Healthy Voyager – Buffalo Quinoa and Bean Burger with Blue “Cheese” Sauce (vegetarian)
A classic bar burger turned vegan. The flavors are actually so much better than meat. Spicy, tangy and sharp all fused together in one delicious vegetarian burger. Even your meat eaters won’t know what hit them when they try this out.
Mommy Kat and Kids – Saputo Mozzarellissima Mushroom Burger
I had to read this recipe title so many times to attempt to say it correctly in my head before telling anyone how amazing it is. Saputo Mozzarellissima is a brand of cheese that has a buttery flavor and perfect melt. If you can’t find it use whatever mozzarella from your local grocery store or farmers market. Just don’t use fresh mozzarella for this recipe. You need something that will melt and stretch well.
So Very Blessed – Sonora Hamburgers
This is a burger that is based on a very popular Arizona hot dog. When you get tired of hot dogs the next best thing in my opinion is a burger. This burger is filled with tangy, salty and delicious Southwest flavors. If you are from Arizona tell us how it stands up to the classic hot dog version.
So Very Blessed – Teriyaki Turkey Burgers
We are lightening the classic patty and giving it an Asian flare with this burger. Ground turkey really has no flavor and can dry out easily, but it also can be very juicy and flavorful if you add the right seasoning and sauce. The teriyaki sauce gives the patty its juiciness and I love the grilled pineapple on top.
So Very Blessed – Rodeo Cheeseburger
So Very Blessed – White Cheddar Turkey Burger
Though this recipe uses ground turkey it is nothing short of hearty, ooey and gooey. The white cheddar is in the turkey burger patty which gives it flavor and keeps it moist. I would say it’s a lighter way to enjoy some bold flavors.
So Very Blessed – Jalapeno Popper Burger
Jalapeno poppers on a burger makes my heart sing. I have always loved jalapeno poppers even back in my more plain days when I was afraid of spice and seasoning. With this recipe you don’t have to stuff those tiny peppers with cream cheese. Instead it’s stuffed in the middle of a burger patty. Oh how juicy when you bite into it with a hint of spice from those jalapenos. Made this a few weeks ago and it has become one of my new favorite burgers.
So Very Blessed – French Onion Cheeseburger
French onion soup really does lay the foundation for a great tasting burger. You use sharp Gruyere cheese and caramelized onions so why not put that on a perfectly grilled burger? Becky did and I know I’m going to try this out for sure.
Fabulessly Frugal – Easy Cheesy Gourmet Spinach Burgers
If you are looking for a way to get your kids to eat their veggies this is the burger for you. If you are just looking for a gourmet twist on a classic burger this also is the recipe for you. You’ll have to read on to find out the secret ingredient that really sets this recipe apart from all the others. I dare you to check it out and let us know what you think.
Fabulessly Frugal – BBQ Beef Sliders
Moni Meals – Knife and Fork Chilli Turkey Burgers
The title of this burger really says it all. These burgers taste like an amazing pot of chilli and are healthier since you are using turkey instead of beef. Try it out and see if you can resist using your knife and fork… or going back for seconds.
Moni Meals – Black Bean and Edamame Sliders (vegetarian)
This burger is not only vegetarian but packed with protein since it uses both black beans and edamame. The edamame lightens up the black bean mixture so it’s not too dense which is what I’ve found to be a problem when having plain black bean burger patties.
oh sweet basil – 2 Secrets for the Best Burger
What makes a burger really stand out? Well, the author explains it all has to do with the meat and the bun. Yup, it’s that simple and if you want to know more click through and find out what makes the perfect meat and bun. Go ahead and do it!
Viance – Turkey Avocado Burgers
Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads – The Sensational Naan Burger
This recipe is sensational seeing as the very first ingredient is 1 bottle of beer and later you are going to use that beer to spritz your meat. Then it adds all sorts of gourmet flavors and ingredients yet keeps it simple enough so anyone can put it together. It also uses the orginal Tandoori Naan which should be available in your local grocery store.
