Here is a lovely smoothie that combines, bananas, mangoes, spinach (for the green color and nutrients) plus non-fat Greek yogurt. It’s the perfect way to start your day, have a snack on the go, or sit pool-side. Makes enough for about a smoothie and a half so take the leftovers with you to the office or on the go.
One of the reasons I chose this recipe is because it comes from a blog called “High Heels and Grills”. I love my heels and love grilling. This recipe doesn’t require either one but it is so easy you can grill in your heels after popping them in the freezer. Just melt some chocolate in the microwave, dip and freeze.
I searched and searched to make sure I included what I would consider the best banana bread recipe I could find. This one stated you would drive 20 miles to get it and she included how she was dreaming of getting this bread in Hawaii. Gets my vote for sure. Try it out and let me know if you think it’s the best recipe you ever made! It did get rave reviews.
I love this recipe because it is a more flavorful variation of plain old banana bread. Add some cinnamon and icing! Love it… Classic banana flavor with some added spice and sweetness.
Here is another smoothie that will satisfy your sweet tooth and it’s healthy, fat free and vegan! Slip it to your kids for dessert and they’ll never know how good it is for them. It will probably become one of their favorites over ice cream and cake! Well, maybe?? Try it out and let me know how it goes.
Brownie recipe alert! Not only is this easy, but the brown butter frosting will knock your socks off. I’ve tried this and absolutely love it and so did my friends.
The picture is what really grabbed me, and then I read it is an old Southern cake recipe the author’s Grandmother made for every special occasion. It includes banana, pineapple, roasted pecans and a decadent cream cheese frosting. Need I say more? I think I’m going to make this for Easter.
I’m ready to bust out the grill even though New England is supposed to get more snow. Once we finally warm up I can’t wait to stuff a tasty and healthy banana with chocolate chips and marshmallows and pop it on the grill to watch it melt into delicious yummy-ness!
